Alonda Schock's journey in adult education started as a student at Manteca Adult School. After being away from school for 35 years, she returned and earned her high school equivalency in 2021. Continuing her education at San Joaquin Delta College, she earned an Associate Degree in Psychology and a Certificate in Substance Abuse Counseling, before returning to Manteca Adult School as an employee.

Today, Alonda supports adult students as the Adult Education Outreach Liaison / Transition Specialist at Manteca Adult School, as they work toward their own educational and career goals. She also serves as President of the CCAE San Joaquin County Chapter; Legislative Action Chair of CCAE Northern Section; and President of the San Joaquin Delta College Foundation Board.
