Teacher Spotlight - Julia Rosario - L.A. Metro Section

​Ms. Julia Rosario joined the Division of Adult & Career Education (DACE) family in the Los Angeles Unified School District in 1986, beginning her career in the administrative offices at Third Street Annex. After nearly a decade of service, she transitioned into teaching in 1995, and has never looked back.

With 35 years in the classroom, Ms. Rosario has dedicated her career to preparing students for success in the workforce. She has trained and guided students into careers as Office Managers, Office Technicians, Data Entry Clerks, Receptionists, Administrative Assistants, Accounting Clerks, and more. Her high expectations, unwavering dedication, and commitment to excellence are key ingredients in her students’ achievements.

​Ms. Rosario remains committed to professional growth by actively participating in professional development and continuously implementing new strategies and best practices in her classroom. Her dedication extends far beyond the school day. Ms. Rosario consistently supports her students outside of working hours, mentors new instructors, and contributes to curriculum development. A proud and active member of CCAE for 22 years, she regularly attends conferences to stay connected and engaged in the field. Additionally, Ms. Rosario is an elder in the Kiowa Tribe, a role that reflects her leadership and commitment to community.
