Bio John Carranza exemplifies a steadfast dedication to education, showcasing versatility by progressing from an instructional aide to diverse roles such as custodian, English/Computer teacher, Academic Coach, Program Specialist, and Vice Principal. His seamless transitions underscore his adaptability and expertise across various domains. Throughout his 25 years, John Carranza's work ethic, adaptability, leadership, and commitment to student success have consistently distinguished him as an outstanding professional in education. John is currently overseeing the Career Technical Education (CTE) department and serving as the CCAE President for the Inland Career Education Center. Under his leadership, the CCAE team has been actively working on initiatives aimed at increasing scholarships, establishing a community HUB, and promoting the Adult School throughout the Inland Empire. One of Mr. Carranza's notable achievements have been the development of creative pathways that connect high school education, adult education, and college opportunities. As CCAE President, Mr. Carranza has successfully nurtured partnerships that have contributed to the overall growth of the consortium. His vision for the Adult School as a community HUB reflects his understanding of the importance of education beyond traditional boundaries. One of Mr. Carranza's notable successes at the Inland Career Education Center has been his initiative to link the Special Education department from the school district to the Adult School. This innovative approach has provided job skills training to Special Education students over the age of 18, enabling them to acquire the necessary skills to enter the workforce. Furthermore, Mr. Carranza's efforts in connecting with external organizations have had a profound impact. His collaboration with Operation New Hope, which helps fund fees for medical students, has opened doors for individuals pursuing careers in the medical field. Additionally, his successful acquisition of a Kaiser Grant to fund new equipment for the Medical Department underscores his dedication to providing students with the resources they need for a comprehensive education. Mr. John Carranza has also been recognized with the prestigious Crystal Award for the 30 Under 30 award. This award, presented in September of 2007, is a well-deserved recognition of his dedication and a testament to his exceptional achievements and success at a young age.
