Penny Dapello

Penny has worked for over 30 years as an English Teacher at a variety of teaching assignments. In 1973, she worked at Azusa Adult School. She would later work at Upland Adult School and Chino Adult Schools. Penny’s biggest accomplishments have come from teaching English for Pomona Unified where she retired in 2008. Along with teaching high School, Penny brought her many years of experience to Chaffey Adult School since 2009 where she currently teaches ABE English. Penny has inspired and motivated students to overcome their fears of writing in order to develop skills necessary to succeed in GED classes. Along with her dedication to chapter duties, she was part of the Southern Section State Conference Committee in 2014. Penny is no-non- sense kind of woman who is extremely helpful on a personal and professional level. In her private life, Penny is a mother and grandmother. She is the Vice President of the Danish Sisterhood in Solvang CA. Penny loves travelling to Mexico and Myrtle Beach SC where she and her husband have vacation homes.
