Excellence in Support Services

Ramona Brown

East San Diego County is home to one of the largest Middle Eastern refugee populations in the United States. Ramona for the last 6 years has worked at El Cajon Adult School as an Administrative Clerk working with ESL staff and our Middle Eastern refugee students. The one thing that stands out most with Ramona is that she is always upbeat and encouraging to our students. Sometimes it takes a special patience to work with non-English speakers, Ramona has that. She always seems to find a way to assist our students, but most importantly she takes the time to listen. Every day Ramona makes El Cajon Adult school a better place to work and learn.

Ramona has been instrumental in assisting with the Chapter board and various events. She is always happy to assist and promote whether it be fundraising or raising awareness of the importance of CCAE.
