2026 Conference Details
The 2026 CCAE State Conference was held April 30 - May 2, 2026, at the Sheraton San Diego Resort in San Diego.

CCAE 2026: Moments, Metrics, and Momentum

The 2026 CCAE State Conference brought together a broad statewide adult education community.
The attendee breakdown included 420 general attendees, 79 speakers, 59 exhibitors, 11 sponsors, and 3 organizers, showing a strong mix of educators, presenters, partners, and resource providers.

​Exhibitors generated 719 total leads.
This is a strong indicator that attendees were not just browsing, but actively engaging with vendors, programs, and service providers.

Attendees engaged with timely adult education topics.
The most question-generating sessions included Working With The Challenged Student and AI for Educators: From Overwhelmed to Empowered, each with 9 questions. Other high-engagement topics included student barriers, IET instruction, academic and career advising, and disability supports.

AI was both a major area of interest and a practical skill-building need.
In a live poll on AI expertise, 41% identified as intermediate, 41% as expert, and 17% as beginner.

​Passport Contest Winner Announced

Congratulations to Efrain Alanis of Twin Rivers Adult School, winner of the 2026 CCAE State Conference Whova Passport Contest.

Efrain received a $50 Amazon gift card for participating in the exhibitor passport activity during the conference.

Thank you to everyone who visited exhibitors, collected passport stamps, and helped make the conference exhibit hall such an active and engaging part of the event.
