Rosalia Cerros

Ms. Cerros has served students, staff, faculty, and administrators throughout her career as an office technician in the Division of Adult and Career Education of the Los Angeles Unified School District.

Ms. Cerros has been an exemplary employee of the Division for the past 23 years. During her tenure with our Division, she has proven to be effective, responsible, dependable, and loyal to adult education and its community. She is an active member of CCAE, and participates in L. A. Metro events. Ms. Cerros has participated in fundraising events for the L.A. Metro Section for the past four years. She has assisted in building participation from staff members to attend section awards functions and conferences.

Ms. Cerros comes to work every day ready to help the students that we serve. She works closely with her co-workers to support our teachers and administrators. She continues to assist in recruiting members for the L.A. Metro Section by sharing information about CCAE with other classified employees.

Ms. Cerros volunteered her time, and supported the participation of staff members at her school to attend the state conference in 2015 when L.A. Metro section hosted the event.

Ms. Cerros comes to work every day ready to help the students that we serve. She works closely with her co-workers to support our teachers and administrators. She continues to assist in recruiting members for the L.A. Metro Section by sharing information about CCAE with other classified employees.

Her commitment and dedication are evident to all of us, past and present, fortunate enough to work with her at East Los Angeles Occupational Center. She has demonstrated her awareness for treating every student, faculty, and administrator as unique individuals.

Ms. Cerros strives for success, and promotes collaboration and teamwork with everyone around her. She works hard to help everyone achieve their goals. She exhibits a natural ability to reach out to students and staff with energy, enthusiasm, and cheerfulness.

Ms. Cerros attended Nightingale Middle School, and Franklin High School, and went on to take classes at East Los Angeles Occupational Center that prepared her for employment with the Los Angeles Unified School District. She is an admirable product of adult education in our school district. Her work ethic and communication skills are attributes that are a valuable contribution to the family of students and staff at East Los Angeles Occupational Center.
