Bio Vladimir Tigno is a strong advocate for adult education and has been an active member of many professional adult education organizations. He has been actively involved in CCAE as LAM Executive Board President, President-Elect, Treasurer, Treasurer-Elect, Leg Chair, CCAE State Conference Co-Chair, State Awards Chair. He also has served on many CCAE committees for CCAE Conferences, Awards dinners, and was a committee member for the LARAEC Conference. Under his guidance, our CCAE-LAM section has implemented a range of initiatives that have elevated the quality and accessibility of adult education programs. Vlad has been a teacher, advisor, and principal at various schools over the course of his career. He has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership, commitment, and a transformative impact on our school community. As a principal, he has shown outstanding leadership skills in navigating the challenges of managing adult schools. Their visionary approach to promote student outcomes has significantly contributed to the overall success and positive atmosphere within our adult schools. This collaborative approach not only enriches the learning experience but also enhances the employability of our adult learners, contributing to the overall development of the community. He is a mentor to new and upcoming teachers and administrators and continues to provide leadership for DACE. Vlad has consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication, innovation, and a profound impact on the lives of students. He goes above and beyond the call of duty to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. The positive outcomes and success stories of our adult learners are a testament to the dedication and vision that he has brought to our leadership group.
