Jonathan M. Kurts

Bio
Jonathan M. Kurts has been indispensable to Tulare Adult School for almost a decade as an ESL/ASE Teacher there. With over twenty years of experience working in adult education, he currently works full-time days, and also part-time in the evening. During the COVID pandemic and subsequent move from in-person to remote instruction, Mr. Kurts seamlessly transitioned to "working from home" with both his ESL students and his High School Diploma students. His resilience and "can do" attitude have made Mr. Kurts the go-to person on campus for questions, for assistance, and for leadership. Currently the CCAE Chapter President at Tulare Adult School, he has organized fundraising efforts and other CCAE events during this uncertain school year. Karyn Ruiz, CCAE Central Section President and Tulare colleague says, “We are very grateful for all of Jonathan Kurts' contributions to his students, site, and adult education community.”
