Meet Elizabeth Penuela, Assistant Principal at Venice Skills Center. Elizabeth’s professional experience includes connecting students with the community and all its resources to help them thrive in their communities.

Elizabeth’s involvement in the community includes serving as: 

• Executive Board Member for the Venice Chamber of Commerce since 2019
• Executive Board Member and Secretary for the Los Angeles College Foundation since 2016
• Chair of Membership and Treasurer Elect for the Los Angeles Metro Section of the California Council of Adult Education (CCAE LA Metro).
• CCAE Member since 2002
• Ex-Officio Board Member for the Van Nuys Airport Association from 2014 to 2018.

Elizabeth is committed to:

• Engaging students with business in the Venice community and to expose them to employment and the resources available in Venice.
• Advocating for the Venice Chamber of Commerce and supporting the businesses in the community.
