Adult Education is my life.
Started my adult education career in 1992 in the US Peace Corps as an EFL teacher, then hired on to Napa Valley Adult School in 1994 as an ESL/Citizenship teacher, Grant Coordinator, Supervisor of Programs, and finally, Interim-Assistant Principal. In 2004 I moved to Sonoma Valley Adult School as Principal till flexibility closed the school in 2012. I then went back to Napa Valley Adult Education as Assistant Principal till moving to SoCal in 2016 where I'm presently Assistant Principal for Poway Career, Technical and Adult Education.
Alongside of all of the above, CCAE has been a big part of my career. Beginning with the North Coast Chapter of Bay Section where I held almost all of the chapter’s officer positions a few times over. Then at the Section and State levels I was Bay Section's President, and Co-Chaired the 2004 CCAE State Conference in Monterey and the 2011 CCAE/COABE National Conference in San Francisco. Honored with the CCAE State Award of Merit in 2005.
