Call for Presenters for the CCAE Southern/South Coast Sections’ Joint Conference

The California Council of Adult Education - Southern Section is holding the Fall Conference on November 17th through the 18th at the Hilton in Palm Springs this year! We are looking for dynamic and remarkable presentations during the conference.

The theme of this year's Conference is All that Jazz. Jazz as a genre is characterized by improvisation, creativity, and collaboration. Adult Education, like good Jazz, is constant innovation and experimentation where diverse voices come together with mutual respect in a spirit of collaboration.

Please fill out the Google from by clicking the button below. The last day to submit for a presentation is August 18th, 2023. We will contact you the week after the due date via telephone or email to discuss the details and let you know if you are selected to present.

We welcome presentations from all adult educators from the Southern/South Coast Sections, including administrators, teachers, and classified staff. Come share your passion for Adult Education and present your experiences and knowledge in any of the following areas:

Successful implementation and coordination of IELCE and IET programs
Increasing and sustaining enrollment in ABE, ASE, ESL, Citizenship, CTE programs
Successful student engagement and retention
Transitioning students to college and career
California Adult Education Programs (CAEP)
How to use data to bring about change
Providing excellent customer service in adult education
Effective ways to increase community partnerships
Improving organizational skills and prioritizing
Increasing employee motivation
Providing an equitable learning Environment
Preparing students for the workplace

Fall Conference Exhibitors and Sponsors

We are also calling for Exhibitors and/or Sponsors to participate in our Southern/South Coast Sections’ Joint Conference in Palm Springs on November 17-18, 2023, at the beautiful Hilton Hotel. Please note, we have a room block for November 15-19 if you want to make a longer stay of it.

CCAE Southern and South Coast Sections serve adult school students, teachers, staff and administrators in Imperial, Inyo, Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, Santa Barbara, and Ventura counties.

Exhibitors will receive LOTS of face-to-face time during the conference schedule, and we will be holding a little reception just for you to meet with the whole conference team on Friday early evening from 4:00-5:00 in the President’s suite prior to the President’s Reception.
