Bio
Stacy Campo has no less than ten credentials and technical certifications to back her years of experience in adult education. She has an outstanding reputation for her ability to effectively train and mentor teachers and administrators in the integration of technology to curriculum for teaching and learning. Stacey provided leadership and vision for Poway USD technology integration since 1995, and for the Education to Career Network consortium of North San Diego County for 6 years before retiring last year. She is an expert in online learning, digital assessment tools and management of mobile technology devices, apps and resources. During the first year of the Covid-19 pandemic, she was invaluable to Poway, Escondido, Vista, Ramona, and San Marcos Adult Schools. In earlier years, Stacey led her district through the adoption and implementation of a learning management system when no other district was using a system for digital delivery. Those efforts translated well for the adult school learning management systems when AB86 moved systems into a consortium effort. As a district coordinator and later Technology Integration Specialist, she was involved in many grant projects and developed a strong partnership with CSU San Marcos and Palomar College. As adjunct faculty, Stacey taught pre-requisite technology courses and has taught fully online masters courses such as video production, mobile integration, and best practices in online teaching. Through her teaching career she has touched many pre-service and continuing service teachers. Through numerous district, county, and state workshops, participants have learned that Stacey communicates effectively and always contributes to the advancement in the field and contributes to the knowledge base; being the first to adopt many systems at the district level and guide towards adoption at the classroom level. Ms. Campo consistently demonstrates the ability to nurture those around her to move them to the next level in applying and using technology to support student needs and professional practices.
Stacey has conducted extensive CCAE professional development sessions, workshops and other training at the local, county and state levels, and has frequently presented nationally with CCAE/COABE to share her knowledge and expertise in coaching educators on the use of effective digital tools and resources. Stacey has been a member of Southern Section CCAE for the past 5 years, but has been an active participant in CCAE for many, many years prior. She attended, and participates in chapter, section and state level events. Stacey helped to support the San Diego 2019 CCAE State Conference team in numerous tech jobs on site. She also took part in attending CCAE State Legislative Day visits.
