Bio
Therese Schultz is a valuable asset to her Elk Grove Adult Education by serving as the primary marketing expert and coordinator for their Community Interest fee-based programs. She is a design whiz and has enhanced the school's marketing and outreach efforts by updating the school catalog and social media sites. Therese has spent many weekends at community outreach events to promote Elk Grove programs and services. She keeps their website and Facebook account up-to-date, emphasizing the importance of the work the school does in adult education, shares student success stories, and shares resources that are of interest and relevance to the community. Therese also coordinates the testing services department, which includes Pearson VUE, HiSET, Paraeducator testing for the school district, and employment typing exams.
She also acts as an excellent advocate for CCAE membership both at her agency and throughout the Northern Section and has been integral in helping to research locations for section events and designing flyers and other promotional materials. She currently serves as the Treasurer for the Section and always has so many great ideas for member engagement and appreciation. Therese's enthusiasm for adult education is contagious and her "can do" attitude helps to keep those around her positive and motivated even when times are tough. Therese Schultz possesses an abundance of energy, and there is no job too big or too small for her. She embraces every project sent her way and is always willing to go above and beyond to pitch in whenever and wherever she is needed.
