Avi is an extraordinary teacher who is the true master of juggling. He has been a gift in adult ed. and brings a bridge and model to our adult education world by aligning resources and knowledge used in his other teaching assignments at the university and community college level. He is an outstanding instructor who is devoted to his adult students’ success. He excels in curriculum development, ESL, and hybrid teaching and learning. He uses various formats to create an effective learning environment which engages and supports all students. He uses technology to provide lessons, presentations, and asynchronous and synchronous discussions.
 
Avi, a Canvas LMS guru, takes his teaching to the next level with the help of this powerful learning management system. With Canvas, Avi is able to create engaging and interactive lessons that keep his students on track and motivated. He uses the platform to post assignments, quizzes, and discussions, to provide feedback and support to his students in real time; and train teachers.
 
He models the use of technology as a tech-savvy teacher who has been using technology to engage his students in the online classroom like never before. From interactive multimedia presentations to gamified learning experiences, Avi has been using a variety of digital tools to create an engaging and dynamic learning environment that keeps his students motivated and on track.
